| Module Aim(s): | This
module aims to provide students with knowledge
of computer-aided design techniques for
construction drawing with respect to building
services engineering and enable them to use
AutoCAD as an engineering communication medium
in order to carry out building design tasks
efficiently and effectively. |
| Objectives: | On
completion of this Module, students are expected
to be able to: 1. apply computer aided design techniques to produce 2D drawings; 2. produce simple building floor plans and engineering details using AutoCAD; and 3. produce simple 3D wireframe geometrical models. |
