BIM Collaboration by BCF 26 Mar 2018 (Mon), 10:30-12:30, LT-4 - Synopsis: Traditional, the main contractor stores the data in file basis and all communication is done by e-mail. This approach is inefficient and creates many unnecessary e-mail communication during the project implementation. In order to enhance the working efficiency and deliver a usable data for clients, a BIM Collaboration server is proposed based on buildingSMART BIM Collaboration Format (BCF) schema. The system presentation and demonstration will be given in the talk. - Speaker: Mr. David Fung, Co-founder of E Tag Solution & Services Ltd. http://www.etag-hk.com Experienced IT Solution Architect on BIM Data Management and IoT areas. We target to maintain a live bi-directional integration between the building models and the system, allowing AEC and FM professionals to share information during design, construction and throughout the building lifecycle. Major clients include China Light Power, Kowloon Motor Bus, HK Airport Authority, Construction Industry Council ...etc. |
