| Module Aim(s): | This
module provides students with up-to-date
knowledge on the acoustics and vibration
technologies and design for building-related
applications. The module enables students
to acquire knowledge of basic theories of
building acoustics and to apply them in
practice. |
| Learning Outcomes: | On
completion of this Module, students are expected
to be able to: 1. apply the knowledge on the acoustics and vibration technologies and design for building-related applications; 2. apply various technologies for control of acoustics and vibration; 3. use acoustics and vibration recommendations/standards; and 4. perform basic calculations in the design of acoustics and vibration control. |
