Energy - Effective solar protection

In order to avoid the negative effect of he generous natural lighting, i.e. the heating of the working areas, the building can be screened throughout by sun blinds located between the glass skins of the facades. This solar protection is flexible and can be individually regulated by the user. On he west side of the building, the double facade is designed as a continuous, 1 m deep convection facade. The air between the two glass skins is heated by the solar radiation, and rises upwards as a result of natural convection. This volume flow, which varies as a result of climatic conditions, is kept constant via control flap and protects the building against heating.
