    Module Aim(s): This module aims to provide students with the in-depth knowledge and understanding of building information modelling (BIM) in practice. It will examine the roles and functions of different professionals in BIM workflow including architecture, civil and structural engineering, building services engineering, quantity surveying and facilitymanagement. It will also explain the technical and strategic skills for BIM project planning in different professional disciplines and technical areas.
    Module Learning Outcomes: On completion of this Module, students are expected to be able to:
    1. explain the roles and functions of different professionals in BIM workflow;
    2. demonstrate good understanding of the principles and practical issues for BIM applications and project management; and
    3. apply the technical and strategic skills for BIM project planning and implementation in different professional disciplines and technical areas.
