    2017 Safety, Health & Industrial Training

    1. Standard First Aid Certificate Course
        (For Year 1 students, and Year 3/4 who have not completed the course)
      - Classes: 22-25 May 2017, 09:30‐18:00
      - Examination: 26 May 2017, 09:30‐18:00
        [Students must attend not less than 80% of the course (in terms of section number), who are eligible to take the exam.]
      - Venue: THEi Building (Tsing Yi campus)
     
    2. Mandatory Basic Safety (Green Card) Training Course
        (For Year 1 students; Only for HK permanent resident/those visa holder who is allowed to work in HK)
      - Classes: 29, 31 May 2017, 08:45-17:15
        (You will be assigned to either one of these date. If you are not available on all these dates, you should contact CIC and apply the course by yourself.)
      - Venue: Construction Industry Council, Management and Safety Training Centre, 4/F, Kowloon Bay Training Centre, 44 Tai Yip Street, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong
      - Fee: HKD 140

    3. Occupational Safety and Health Training
        (
    For Year 1 students, and Year 3/4 who have not completed the course)
      - Classes: 5-9 Jun 2017, 10:00-16:00, LT5
      - Occupational Safety and Health Training Sub-topics:
        1. Personal Protection, Use of Personal Protective Equipment
        2. Effective Safety Management, Safe Working in Confined Spaces
        3. Welding Safety, Office Safety
        4. Hearing Protection, Coping with Work Stress
        5. Chemical Labelling, Managing Chemical Hazards
        6. Safety Management System, Safe Working Cycle
        7. Construction accident analysis, Occupational Incident and Disease Surveillance System
        8. Construction Safety, 危害識別手冊
        9. Safe Lifting, Electrical Safety
        10. Manual Handling Operations, Understanding the Risks of Upper Limb Musculoskeletal Disorders
