    Module Aim(s): This module aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of construction contracts and tendering procedures, and to develop students’ planning and management skills and techniques in the context of building services engineering.
    Objectives: On completion of this Module, students are expected to be able to:
    1. identify benefits and drawbacks of various forms of procurement, tendering, and contractual arrangements for building services engineering projects;
    2. interpret the legal rights, obligations, responsibilities and liabilities of the major provisions in the standard forms of building services contract management;
    3. describe various means of disputes resolution mechanisms;
    4. apply cost, time and resources control for building services projects, management science techniques and software packages to aid the project planning and management processes.
