Gammon is responsible for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of all systems designed to treat the contaminated soils which is contaminated with poisonous substances as petroleum/oil and heavy metals due to the prolonged usage of the site as shipbuilding/repair business.

In addition to soil decontamination on the existing land, this project also includes construction of a 500-metre-long seawall and the reclamation of a further 3.8 hectares of land.
