Minimum size of cable for power shall be 2.5mm2 and for control shall
be 1.5mm unless otherwise specified.
Spacing of cable on cable tray shall be 2 times the overall diameter
of an individual cable up to a maximum of 90mm apart except otherwise indicated
on the drawings.
The colour of cable core sheath shall comply with either 1.E.E. wiring
regulation or 1.E.C. code.
All cable shall have sufficient rating for their duty and the following
factors must be taken into account when determine the rating: - (A) Group
Factor, (B) Voltage Drop, (C) Ambient Termperature, (D) Current
Rating.
Routing of cables shall be arranged to suit site conditions
Unless otherwise specified, all cables shall be either multi-core armoured
on tray or PVC copper cable enclosed in conduit/trunking.
Cable size for all sub-main and final circuitd shall be in accordance
with the submain and final circuits cable schedile unless otherwise specificied.
Each cable tray shall be provided with 1 No. 25mm x 35mm Cu earth tape
for earth continuity.
The brackets, metal cover and accessories for outdoor cable tray shall
be hot-dipped galvanized.
