| Module Aim(s): | This
module aims to develop student’s ability to
prepare and interpret construction drawings and
equip students with the skills of using an
engineering communication medium to develop a
foundation for understanding complex building
plans. |
| Objectives: | On
completion of this Module, students are expected
to be able to: 1. define and make appropriate use of drafting and design terminology; 2. present an object or product with drawing by basic sketches, orthographic projections and working drawings; 3. apply drawing standards and conventions of building services engineering to construct the conventional representation of engineering features, common engineering abbreviations, dimensions and symbols. |
