1.2 Bulk Excavation limits, Site Access
Bulk Excavation Limit
T.T.T. Building is located on the Mid-level scheduled area. There is a bulk Excavation limit to control the extend of excavation in each project on the hilly condition. Bulk excavation is defined as all excavation except excavation for ground investigation, public utility trenches, drains, sewers, piles or cassion. Other than that, excavation must carry out not more than the limits. The government hereby can maintain the stability of the hillside and minimize the cumulative adverse effect of the bulk excavation.
Site Access
Since Bonham Road is a single two road and therefore no site access can be opened directly from Bonham Road into the site and all material, equipment must be loaded and unloaded in the existing platform beside Swire Building. In this project, contractor bears the obligation of keeping the site access clean enough that no distributance caused by the dust and soil particles during construction.
