Material

The brick walls are made from bricks from demolished old buildings in China.

The granite rock paving is from the boundary wall of Wan Chai Police Headquarter.

The gabion wall infill is made from oyster shell from Lau Fau Shan coast.

The boundary fence wall use the timber formwork dismantled in the construction process.

The refrigerant for the direct expansion type A/C system use the environmentally friendly refrigerant R407c which have zero ozone depletion potential.

The concrete wall of the building composed of Pulverised Fuel Ash (PFA) from power plant as part of the cement replacement for all structural concrete. In the construction process, the formwork is "second-hand" from other building sites, while the roof slab uses a steel metal decking which reduce wastage.
