Triple Glazed Active Wall System
The Building features an environmentally sensitive cladding system. It features a triple-glazed active wall system. The three layers are made of low-E clear glass. The cavity within the first 2 layers is vacuum which is used for sound insulation, while the cavity between the 2nd and the 3rd layer are ventilated by cool air exhausted from inside of the Building. The cool air passes through the bottom of the cavity and heat is shunt upwards for dissipation. Thus, the facade can be cooled and this cavity acts as good heat insulator. As a result, the Building has a high light transmission and a low Overall Thermal Transfer Value (OTTV).
