Building Form

Though the irregular site includes a curved edge, rectangular forms were chosen for the building's L-shaped floorplates. The shape allows for a useful internal functional layout and takes into account that a large amount of equipment going into the building, including fume cupboards, safety cabinets and refrigerators, are squarish on plan.
