Application of infrared motion detectors and weight sensors in escalators which will operate only when pedestrians are detected, this will reduce the unnecessary power consumption in running empty escalators, especially at night.
Lighting and fans inside lift cars will be switched off automatically when lifts are detected not in use for more than 15 minutes.
